The upcoming autumn 2010 we will launch a new collection, Mountain top, meanwhile you can have a look below.
The products on the photo have been evolved in the frosty forest county of Jämtland, Sweden, where finewooled sheep, the Jämtland sheep, help to sustain ancient mosaics of open pasture. A small number of small companies have handled this fleece on its short hop from hoof to head.
Design is by Viktoria Månström near Krokom, her neighbor Elisabeth Grenholm breeds, shears and grades the fleece. Scouring and spinning´s done by the ullFORuM project´s Belfast mini-mill, half-way to Susanné Wallner´s Ulleri just on the other side of Östersund, where it´s knitted and sewn.
Our shared hope is that you will enjoy the unique softness, warmth and luster when descendants of the Viking sheep are crossed with Merino finewool.
